On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, a passenger bus on route 60 fell into a sinkhole formed on Avenida del Imán in the Coyoacán municipality of Mexico City. Images were shared on social media showing the bus stuck in the hole, presumably caused by water leak-related work. The portal 'La Voz en Coyoacán' shared a video around 8:30 AM on Tuesday showing the bus on Avenida del Imán, almost at the corner with Azteca and Delfín Madrigal. Something seems to be happening with the ground in #Coyoacán, first we REPORTED a SIGNIFICANT LEAK and now this too… Avenida del Imán almost at the corner with Azteca and Delfín Madrigal. In turn, the Coyoacán municipality responded around 12:50 PM that personnel from the area were already working at the site, in coordination with the Mexico City Government's Comprehensive Water Management Secretariat, to address the water leak. Some national media reported that at least three people were injured in the incident; however, authorities have not issued any information on this case.
